In yoga the breath is EVERYTHING. It is what moves the body, regulates the nervous system, and stills the mind. It is the most tangible form of the vital life force known as Prana. Pranayama is our relationship with our body and mind. The more we become aware of our breath, the more we are able to quiet the mind and directly experience the wisdom of our heart through meditation. This class will teach us about how to use the breath as a gateway for meditation.
